Gary King: It’s Max Venom! Looking like a possessed demon with that blood streaming down his face! What’s that in his hand?
A-Damn Hater: Is that… plexiglass? The stuff the pod is made out of? He’s got a shard of that in his hand!
Erik Knights: Reverend Daddy Joe has been eliminated!
A-Damn Hater: Another huge scalp for Snail, this kid is going to do it, he’s going to go all the way!
Greg Brooks: But there’s one last obstacle in his path, the always dangerous, the always vicious Max Venom.
Gary King: No. No way. You don’t think?
Greg Brooks: He promised us he’d have an inside man! He guaranteed his victory!
A-Damn Hater: Tell me it isn’t true. Not after all we just witnessed.
Greg Brooks: Brilliant! You never saw it coming! He dangled it right in front of your faces and you-
Gary King: Oh, that was smart! Max tried to bluff Snail in, trick him into letting his guard down but Snail called it, played along and Venom ended up getting a taste of his own medicine!
Greg Brooks: What? But if Snail isn’t Max’s partner, who is? Did they already get eliminated?
A-Damn Hater: You know what? I don’t think Max ever had someone on his side. He just wanted to mess with everyone’s heads. Now though, he’s going to pay the price!
Greg Brooks: Max can’t be disqualified in this match so he’s free to pull every little trick out of his playbook to get Snail down for the count.
Gary King: He’s going to need to, Snail has looked absolutely fantastic throughout this match while Max spent most of it bleeding out in a broken chamber pod.
A-Damn Hater: The heart, the soul, the inner strength of Heavy Metal Snail! The Guardian of Metal will not back down to Max Venom! He just took that nasty beating and yet he’s right back!
Gary King: The fans here solidly behind Snail! This is his night!
Greg Brooks: That’s a match ender right there! Good show, kid. Time to pack it up.
A-Damn Hater: Snail’s nose has to be broken! Max Venom is inhuman, how can he even think of doing that to another human being?
Gary King: The athleticism of Heavy Metal Snail! He drilled Max’s head right into the canvas from the air! That was something else!
A-Damn Hater: I have to give the devil his due here, how Max Venom kicked out of that I’ll never know! These two men putting it all on the line tonight.
Greg Brooks: Snail has nowhere to go, even if he reaches the ropes, it won’t matter.
Gary King: This kid is refusing to give up though! He’s completely focused on finding a way out of it, I don’t think the thought of tapping out has even entered his mind!
A-Damn Hater: What a counter to the Deadly Infection! Snail is pulling off the impossible here, he’s finding innovative ways to keep Venom at bay.
Greg Brooks: Well, it’s great we have some highlight reel material but how much did that just take out of Snail? Venom might’ve just got squashed there but Snail had to endure that hold for minutes.
Greg Brooks: Great ring awareness from Max Venom there. Even out of the ring, he knew where those ropes were and was able to stop that quick pin.
Gary King: Snail keeps coming at Venom and I don’t think Max has a way to finish him off. That said, Max has also been good at avoiding the three count.
Gary King: Inverted Cross, that double-underhook piledriver that put away Reverend Daddy Joe, is it going to be the thing that finishes Max Venom?
A-Damn Hater: Listen to these fans, they’re solidly behind this young kid! One more move and he’s going to the main event of Wrestletopia!
Greg Brooks: Why won’t this kid stay dead?! What the hell does it take to keep him down?
A-Damn Hater: The will to win, the need to survive and the desire to be the next FHT Undisputed Champion. That’s fuelling both these men right now as they give everything they’ve got to try and beat each other.
Gary King: What else can there be? What will it take for someone to get the win here?
A-Damn Hater: Max has to be thinking about a second Lethal Injection while Snail has a whole list of moves he could pull out of his hat. I have to believe though, the next big move wins it.
Gary King: Ladies and gentlemen, I think we might be about to witness The Wildcard. Desperate times calls for desperate measures and if Snail hits this, it has to be over.
Greg Brooks: Come on, Max! You’ve got to get out of this! If anyone can find a way, it’s you!
Greg Brooks: Enough is enough! This Heavy Metal Snail is savage! Venom just went through another damn pod!
A-Damn Hater: Venom’s down! He’s down on the outside after that landing! Cover him, kid, make yourself famous!
A-Damn Hater: After years of running his mouth, after all the arrogant things he’s said about the legends of this company, of his fellow wrestlers, all the ego and boosting, Max Venom is vulnerable.
Gary King: I don’t know if Max can even stand properly at this point. Snail has him at his mercy and I, for one, hope he doesn’t show any.
Gary King: Who is that? How the hell did they get in here?
Greg Brooks: Oh, ye of little faith! Max Venom told you, didn’t he? He told you he had someone inside the chamber watching his back, he just didn’t specify where they’d be!
Greg Brooks: Yes! Yes! Right across the head!
A-Damn Hater: What’s going on? Was this Max Venom’s insurance policy the entire time?
Erik Knights: Heavy Metal Snail has been eliminated! Therefore, your winner of the sixth FHT Elimination Chamber and the number one contender to the FHT Undisputed Championship at Wrestletopia: Max Venom!
A-Damn Hater: Robbed. Heavy Metal Snail was robbed here tonight. The Young Lion of FHT put on an absolute clinic tonight but thanks to Max Venom and his “insurance policy”, he’s been forced out of the title picture for Wrestletopia.
Greg Brooks: You sound shocked, A-Damn. Didn’t Max Venom guarantee it? Didn’t Max Venom tell you exactly what was going to happen? He’s going to Wrestletopia and whoever the champion ends up being at that point, it’ll be a huge main event!
Gary King: No denying that. Hell of a match here, six men giving it everything but only one winner ultimately, that damn Max Venom steals it. Thanks for joining us tonight at Supershow: Elimination Chamber, I’m Gary King for Greg Brooks and A-Damn Hater, we’ll see you on the road towards Wrestletopia.
A-Damn Hater: Is that… plexiglass? The stuff the pod is made out of? He’s got a shard of that in his hand!
An angry Max shoves the improvised weapon right at Joe’s face, aiming for the eye! Joe struggles to keep it away as a furious Max looks to blind Joe! Joe pushes back with both hands, shoving Max Venom away but Venom responds with a shove of his own, taking Joe off the turnbuckle. Joe manages to stay on his feet but is caught by Snail and takes an Inverted Cross! One… Two… Three!
The crowd are on their feet for the final two as Max discards the plexiglass, watching Snail from the outside. Max is a bloodied mess from the Daddy-Plex into the pod earlier while Snail is worn down from a long, tough match. The two men stare at each other… And then there’s suddenly a small laugh from Max Venom. A grin through the blood, his hands smacking together in applause and eye contact with Snail. The fans start to piece it all together and the boos start raining down at the Elimination Chamber.
Gary King: No. No way. You don’t think?
Greg Brooks: He promised us he’d have an inside man! He guaranteed his victory!
A-Damn Hater: Tell me it isn’t true. Not after all we just witnessed.
Snail looks at Venom with brief confusion… before smiling himself! A “bullshit” chant goes up from the crowd as Snail gives Venom a small bow. Max’s smile vanishes for a moment but is right back, entering the ring. Both men still look tense but no one is happy right now as the picture becomes clear: Heavy Metal Snail was Max Venom’s associate. And he just won the match for him.
Greg Brooks: Brilliant! You never saw it coming! He dangled it right in front of your faces and you-
But Brooks is cut off by a huge slap around the face of Venom! Snail is on the attack, the friendly body language gone leaving only confusion as Snail takes Max down. Venom is caught off-guard as Snail just goes to town with kicks, punches, anything he can think of to cause Max some level of pain! Venom tries to block but its futile: Snail kicks him in the gut and then the head before shouting out triumphantly: “I WOULD NEVER WORK WITH YOU!” to a huge ovation!
Snail goes for another kick but Max catches the leg, brings Snail crashing to the mat and starts looking for the Deadly Infection. Snail is having none of that though, kicking Venom in the head with his free leg and scoring with a beautiful dropkick. Another and another as Snail builds up steam. Venom swings wildly just to try and bring this to a stop but Snail is a step ahead, catching the punch and using it to pull Max into the Mosh Pit. Venom struggles against the move, grabbing the ropes to force Snail off it. As Snail attempts to pull Max up, he gets brought down onto the ropes and Max takes advantage, choking Snail with the freedom of no-disqualification rules.
Venom tosses Snail over the ropes onto the steel floor where Snail lands hard. He’s then casually tossed into the steel chains. Max entraps Snail by threading his arms through the chains and now with Snail unable to defend himself, and then lets loose with a series of knees straight to the face, aiming to break his nose. Snail hangs limply from the chain wall as Max backs up for a running big boot but Snail dodges! Heavy Metal Snail is free and is coming at Venom like a house on fire!
A-Damn Hater: The heart, the soul, the inner strength of Heavy Metal Snail! The Guardian of Metal will not back down to Max Venom! He just took that nasty beating and yet he’s right back!
Gary King: The fans here solidly behind Snail! This is his night!
Snail whips Max into the pod and luckily for Max, he doesn’t go through another one. Unluckily, he bounces off and into the waiting arms of Snail who hits a german suplex on the steel floor! Snail bridges, One… Two… Venom just about manages to get out! Snail wastes no time, he’s right back on Max, slingshotting him into the steel chains. Snail goes for a follow-up but gets a kick to the gut followed by one to the head as Max tries to turn the tide here. Max pulls Snail’s arms back, boot resting on the back of his head, the fans begging him not to finish the inevitable curb stomp. Snail’s face collides with the grated floor and a round of boos greets the bloodied, laughing Max Venom.
Greg Brooks: That’s a match ender right there! Good show, kid. Time to pack it up.
A-Damn Hater: Snail’s nose has to be broken! Max Venom is inhuman, how can he even think of doing that to another human being?
Sure enough, blood begins to trickle from the nose of Snail. Max tosses Snail back into the ring and does a rare thing, ascends the turnbuckle, waiting. Snail gets up, Max warms his shoulder up before going for a diving spear. Snail leaps into the air to meet him, grabs the head and catches him for a huge DDT! The fans go absolutely nuts and with both men down, the next few moments are slow-motion replays of the unbelievable counter. Even Snail looks shocked he pulled it off as he goes for the cover, One… Two… Venom gets the shoulder up!
Venom is still down and looks to be out, the kickout perhaps on pure instinct alone. Snail contemplates his options and slowly, looks towards the corner turnbuckle to the delight of the audience. He pulls himself up onto the top rope and signals for it, the Stage Dive! No one home! Venom rolls out of the way and Snail hits the mat hard! Venom is up and ready, locking in the cloverleaf, flipping Snail over and bridging, the Deadly Infection is locked in! Snail grits his teeth in pain as he’s stretched out.
Greg Brooks: Snail has nowhere to go, even if he reaches the ropes, it won’t matter.
Gary King: This kid is refusing to give up though! He’s completely focused on finding a way out of it, I don’t think the thought of tapping out has even entered his mind!
With no other options, Snail begins the agonising task of dragging both his and Venom’s weight towards the ropes in the hopes Max might be forced to break. He claws and scrapes his way across the canvas, the fans behind him and finally, mercifully grabs hold of the bottom rope. The referee starts to count but Max just laughs it off, knowing he can’t get disqualified. Snail looks like he might fade out, struggling to stay alive and desperately starts to pull himself up the ropes, carrying Max with him. Venom refuses to drop the hold even as they end up basically vertical and a pained Snail is forced to desperate measures. He tugs on the rope and flips over, his weight sandwiching Venom into the steel floor!
Needless to say, the hold is broken. Venom pulls himself up by the chains while Snail uses the ropes. Max taunts Snail into running at him and then flapjacks him into the chamber wall. Kick to the gut and then Max does something that makes even the toughest FHT fan wince: He puts Snail into the piledriver position. However, Snail flips Venom over and he once again comes falling on that steel grate. Max finds his feet only for Snail to springboard off the ropes and crossbody onto him! Cover, One… Two… Max grabs the ropes.
Snail gets Max back into the ring and follows him in with a flying armdrag. Dropkick into another armdrag as Snail starts to pick up the pace of the match. Snail goes for a rolling DDT but gets caught, slammed to the mat with a modified spinebuster. Venom waits for Snail to get to his feet but Snail comes flying at him with a forearm. Kip-up and atomic drop, he’s on a roll now to the delight of the fans. Snail signals for the end and gets Venom in position for the Inverted Cross.
Max won’t let it be that easy however and struggles out. Snail tries to grab him but Venom goes low, a low blow to Snail who winces in pain. With Snail’s guard down, Max lifts him up onto his shoulders, the fans pleading for Snail to fight out but it’s no use: Lethal Injection! Venom’s smirking as he casually falls into the cover, One… Two… Kickout! Snail kicks out of the Lethal Injection! Venom nearly loses it but makes another cover, this time hooking the leg, One… Two… Kickout again! Now Max actually does lose it, freaking out as the fans break out the “This is awesome” chant.
As the fans continue to chant, Max sinks into the ropes, behind the bloodied face calculations and plans forming. He tries to regain his focus, wipes some blood away, stretches a little before approaching Snail, who surprises him with a small package! One... Two… Venom rolls it over! One… Two… Snail brings it back! One… Two… Venom kicks out! Both men on their feet, both focused as they lock up, middle o f the ring. The two men fight for supremacy as the fans grow louder and louder.
Gary King: What else can there be? What will it take for someone to get the win here?
A-Damn Hater: Max has to be thinking about a second Lethal Injection while Snail has a whole list of moves he could pull out of his hat. I have to believe though, the next big move wins it.
Max uses his size advantage to gain control but Snail trips him up. Max holds the lock-up still, bringing Snail down with him. Still connected, they rise to their feet. This time, Venom uses his power to bring Snail towards the corner. Snail rises up a little then a bit more before his on the top rope. Venom attempts to fling him off but Snail grabs the head, flying neckbreaker! Venom falls into the corner and Snail sees the opportunity. As he flips Max around and brings him on top of the turnbuckle, the audience buzzes, realising what’s coming.
The move is set-up very methodically, very carefully as if Snail was about to unleash an atomic bomb. He finally attempts to pick Max up but Venom fights back, elbows, fists, his head, anything he can connect with Snail in an attempt to stop what’s coming. Snail is forced to retreat, Venom looks ready to try and moonsault off the turnbuckle but Snail hits a running dropkick and Venom’s head goes crashing right into the pod! It’s déjà vu for Max Venom as the pod shatters around him and his only saving grace is that instead of landing in the broken glass, he hits the steel floor instead.
Greg Brooks: Enough is enough! This Heavy Metal Snail is savage! Venom just went through another damn pod!
A-Damn Hater: Venom’s down! He’s down on the outside after that landing! Cover him, kid, make yourself famous!
The idea must certainly be going through Snail’s head but his body refuses to respond. His energy nearly gone, Snail pulls himself up on the ropes as he watches Max, just in agony on the outside. Venom pounds the steel grate three times in frustration, desperation and pain as he looks towards the ring, towards Heavy Metal Snail. Slowly, carefully, he re-enters the ring but almost immediately falls to the mat. It is there we see Max Venom do something he has never done before as Snail approaches. Max Venom backs off, hands up, almost pleading for mercy.
Crawling across the ring, away from Snail and where he landed, Venom is seemingly begging Snail to leave him be, the last actions of a desperate, hurt man. Snail appeals to the crowd and gets a pretty clear response: “Fuck him up!” echoing around the arena. Snail basks in the moment, deservedly so, and therefore can hardly be blamed for not noticing one of the metal panels behind him, where Venom landed, suddenly flipping up and a figure clutching a steel chair emerging from underneath.
Gary King: Who is that? How the hell did they get in here?
Greg Brooks: Oh, ye of little faith! Max Venom told you, didn’t he? He told you he had someone inside the chamber watching his back, he just didn’t specify where they’d be!
The crowd are trying to warn Snail who is aware of the shift in atmosphere but can’t pinpoint it until he looks down to see Max’s face shift from fear to that smug smirk of his. Snail turns around and stops in shock and confusion as he sees the person who emerged from beneath the chamber in the ring, steel chair at the ready. Snail gets no time to react, his head meeting the chair swung by
Blackcat Meiko. <- [Highlight to reveal]
Greg Brooks: Yes! Yes! Right across the head!
A-Damn Hater: What’s going on? Was this Max Venom’s insurance policy the entire time?
To his credit, Snail manages to stay on his feet but it does him no favours, getting pulled onto Max’s shoulders. Venom’s associate opens the chair up and even as the fans try to inspire Snail on, he takes a Lethal Injection through the chair. Max into the cover, One… Two… Three. The entire arena is filled with the sound of angry booing as Venom has his hand raised.
Erik Knights: Heavy Metal Snail has been eliminated! Therefore, your winner of the sixth FHT Elimination Chamber and the number one contender to the FHT Undisputed Championship at Wrestletopia: Max Venom!
The official announcement just makes things worse as the bloody, hurt Venom celebrates the big victory while the referee checks on Snail. Pyro explodes around the chamber as Venom sinks to his knees, smirking at the huge victory he just pulled off, his associate standing by his side stoically.
The supershow ends with Max, almost leaning on his partner, grinning at his success through his crimson mask as he leaves the chamber behind.
