So the first show of the new era, lots of interesting things in the planning but it depends on us having a good first show here. A reminder that matches shouldn't be done in full but more as recaps, how you want to write the recap is up to you. We want to set the standard going forward here, so its important to start off consistent.

The Hardcore Show stuff is all done and ready to go but isn't a good opening segment. It'll be up once the show gets going.

Good to see Angel back on Legacy, nice little segment to get him in the mix.
The Hardcore Show is up.

All is right with the world cause the leader of the legacy legion has come back home!!! Honestly felt like the crowd was pumped and shitting all over Brad and I liked that this was predictable! It built the crowd up into a frenzy for Angelcoming out rather than simply angel coming out to his music!!!
If I had one criticism - I wanted to hear more of Brad Baxter's pipebomb! I actually feel that Baxter went way over in those few minutes more so than any other time in history! Punk has been crying out for lampooning an thus far no one has touched it! Baxter could totally go places with that!
Angel is back and well he sold everything he possibly could as he always does!!! My favourite disappearing wrestler is back (for a while) (until the next time) and I am a happy reader!!!

Best hardcore show ever!!! So much I liked about that segment! Nick's goofy promos sometimes can I think detract - they take you off on to big a tangent but here they served purpose in that Max's serious demeaner and nick's lackadaisical stance just were two polar opposites! On my phone so much I would say here but due to time can't!
Max tying up loose ends was good! Max in character I hate! He speaks so much twisted truths I find him so hard to write against cause how do u defend yourself against some of the stuff he says! It's steeped in realism but isn't personal ooc - but really is so real about the characters! His shots at the guys who love the company etc - Myself included - all good!
I like that he tied up the WWE loose end! I like the good business slogan! I like that! I also like the character motivation were all too often in here heels have been anti company - anti legacy etc - but max is very much pro legacy future cause its success ultimately is his success! Clever!
I was crying out for nick to hit him there but perhaps that was good to leave it hangin! On the strength of that Nick/Max has to be in the not to distant future and could be built so well!!! Do you rip that off Leno Nick?!? Good stuff and if there was ever something to top the amazing work of Nick/Alexei this is it!!!

Max and Nick knocked that promo out of the park. Both men looked great here. Nick as a wily veteran who was catching Max off-guard and despite his goofy attitude, always knew what was going on. Max came across very menacing, just a constant threat that could strike at any moment.
I also think this might well be the best use of character backstory we've seen in some time. Everything Max mentioned seemed to tie together into the bigger picture of his new gimmick. And its a hell of a gimmick if Max can keep it going past this. Almost the natural note for Legacy to finish on, a pro-Legacy heel gimmick.
Nick/Max seems like a logical feud but perhaps slow burning it would be best, with so much going on right now. But this was a hell of a way to start it. It leaves both men in interesting positions going into the big story. Knowing what's coming up, I'm very interested in seeing how this affects the coming weeks.

credit should be given to max on the hardcore show. i only wrote the monologue. and yes dijon, it is all ripped off. i find good late night jokes from all the late night shows and mold them together. i didnt have time to personalize them like i did (i think) last time.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully some good stuff in the coming weeks.
Let's try and get more posts on the show this weekend. First shows are tough but with the roster as it is right now, we really need as many guys as possible posting.

Battle for New York should be up by tomorrow. Rob and I were both running late on our parts. I'll have it finished probably early tomorrow.

Some good stuff today, good to see the show picking up pace. What'll be the main event, Gordon/RDJ, Keith/Snail or The Announcement?
Enjoyed seeing NIN and Gordon interact. I think that's the real trick to writing something entertaining in this place in comparison to a more RP style, get characters interacting, write wrestling segments more than promos. This and Joe's promo later really help sell the stakes of this match.
Looks like TPC is out of the asylum and that can only mean trouble. Hard for me to comment on without bias but give it a read. Especially if Ace's last couple of runs here disappointed you.
Great intense promo from Joe too. Something we rarely think about here but caught my eye was the placement of this stuff: NIN/Gordon start hyping the match from their perspective, the cutaway to TPC gives the reader something different and then we're back to Joe to tell his side. Feels well-paced. Hard to choose a winner between Gordon and Joe because its hard to imagine either guy losing. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Angel/Baxter will probably be up soon.

NIN/Gordon was a polished piece - very efed and as such a high class of writing from Ninzano! Good to see the hyping of Gordon/RDJ! Am hoping now to see some NIN interference!
Chase has without question just come off his greatest year! The character / writing has been his best! The cameo of Ace was excellent and it tied up a loose end from last year! The plastic arm off dolls bit was again very cool and the return of Mistah JJ and explanation of how he went from the 2 faced! Chase is a sick freak now! It is to his credit! This is grea to read!
