WWE 12 is alright. I'm not a big fan of some of the canges they made to the game mechanics, as they essentially depowered submissions to the point where they are only useful for ending a long match. Oh, and the Online mode can be kind of fun, but there is a ton of move glitches that people abuse the crap out of which is frustrating.

there is a ton of move glitches that people abuse the crap out of which is frustrating. Still? There's always going to be one or two issues, but this has been a common theme since the series first went online. Just means I never want to play it online with someone I don't know/can't punch if they pull that shit. Did they at least fix the bizarre bug from last year where you could get the win over the AI from essentially any pin? (Also, welcome back RDJ )

Well the worst of teh glityches are this front kick that people just do over and over again. The superkick is a dazed move that makes someone dramatically fall over, so when that person is falling over, you can grab them and super kick them again, you repeat this until you have your finisher. The Barret style Flapjack (I think it's Flapjack #4) has a similar thing as the super kick. The running spear is glitched to where you can spear downed opponents over and over again. The pinning jackhammer is glitched to where you can't kick out of it. Finally if you create a finisher you can up the speed to the max and make it uncounterable. All of this is such bullshit.
Fortunately there is usually a way you can tell who is going to be a cheating asshole. They tend to dress like extras from a rap video or they're Iron Man.
Glad to be back. Just lurking though. Hanging out OOC.

Seems with repeating moves, it could be easily stopped with diminishing returns on moves used over and over or just an auto-counter. But this is Yukes and THQ, probably saving that for a year they desperately need a selling point and call it an "complete online mode redesign" or something.
OOC's fine, trying to improve that aspect this time around, good to see you again.

Essentially making these moves do little damage would never work since you don't get a chance to do anything inbetween the moves. What they should do is strip folks of their prestige points and derank them the minute they get more than say two reports of that.

Well, the issue with that is its exploitable. All I need is a friend (or hell, an alternate account) and I can go around deranking anyone I don't like or just anyone on the top of the leaderboards. If its then made higher, it won't happen often enough to stop it while not really avoiding abuse. Its a tough problem but the real issue is Yukes have never really made an attempt to stop it. The competitive online element of their games has been a mess for years now and they don't seem to really care.

So has anyone tried the new Mass Effect 3 demo? Tried it out this evening and as a fan of the series, i like what i am seeing. If this is what the finish product will be, the graphics are awesome. The whole time i was playing, i was blown away by them. Also i am hoping that the bypass option that was in the demo is what will be in the game. I got tired of doing the whole find the matching part to bypass in Mass 2. Can't wait till bioware allows me to try the multiplayer part of the demo.

I have played it a few times to get an idea on the different classes. I enjoyed it and can't wait for the game to actually be released. I've been playing the multiplayer over the last few hours (been able to get early access due to a facebook app) and its basically horde mode with ME style combat. It does have something beyond waves of combat in that there are different 'missions' during some of the waves.
Big problem I have with it really comes down to the fact that only 1 race (mostly human male) is unlocked at the start and to get the rest you have to basically buy random booster packs from the store. To begin with this does take some time to get credits although I would imagine it would get faster the higher your level/skill goes.
The good thing though is the level you get each class seems to be retained no matter what race you chose.

Is everyone on 360 here? I almost got PS3 WWE13 today but it seems everyone has a 360.

Got about a week before I get WWE2K14. I'm bummed that the Legends DLC with Bruno Sammartino and Dusty Rhodes won't be out until January though. When I get it I'll start churning out the usual cast of FHT guys.
My X-Box Live handle is spydermurphy1.
EDIT: On a weird note unrelated to online play, I was thinking about splitting FHT up in Universe mode into separate European and American leagues. This gets guys like Lbm, Angel, Blade, David, Max Venom, and Ulster into one league, while RDJ, Sick Nick, Kieth Williams, Robert Gordon, Chase and the like in the American league. Then do a bragging rights style PPV on two separate occasions for a supershow.

My FHT roster has a surprising amount of people on it that aren't here anymore. Hell, I think I may even have Charlie Violence on my WWE13 roster.

I never did get to finish downloading all the FHT guys on wwe13. Whenever I would go to download one, the server wouldn't let me. Finally I just gave up and haven't tried again.
