Good to see J.C. back, a great promo who plays an unlikable bastard so well. I hope he can stay active and fulfill the potential he's always shown, there's definitely room for him to rise up the card quickly.

I think last week's show might have been the best RE:VENGE since we came back. Lots happening, a packed card, a lot of movement to the future, the return of Trey and J.C. and just a good buzz coming out of it. We did overrun and some of that is certainly on my own head but it was a strong show.
Let's aim to get this one done by Thursday, earlier would be even better obviously, but it might be more practical to slowly bring ourselves back towards the actual deadline.

This page of the Feedback Topic belongs to me apparently.
First, some random thoughts coming out of last week:
I said it before but I think last week was a great show. No NIN, Max, Joe and only a little Ninja, with those guys it could've stood as one of our best shows of at least the last few years. Seeing Max got his match up right on the following show, he was probably just busy, which happens, missing a week hurts, yes, but it happens. Joe's left for the time being which I hope will be a very short time, if any. A great writer who should be in the position of doing more and certainly a few guys on this roster who aren't doing much should be trying to tempt him with ideas.
Ninja seems a little lost right now, the Wild Childs are starting to get over with me but I'm not really sure where it can go unless we start a tag division, and that's not on the cards right now. He's got five characters and they're all fading from the spotlight. I think its time a couple of them got written out somehow so there's less to focus on and certainly Ninja needs to get in the mix more here. In a place dominated by heels, he should be a big hero right now.
As for NIN... I couldn't remember the last thing of his I read, I had to go check. Turns out in was back in January, when we were still under the name Legacy. That isn't something I like to do, shame people over these gaps because if nothing else, its the me throwing stones from my glass house but that's a troubling gap. I wonder if it is a case of being busy or just being burnt out on a character that has done pretty much everything here. I'd rather have NIN the writer as an active presence on the show doing something he wants to do than having NIN the character just lurk around, not going anywhere. NIN might need a new gimmick or the long-awaited face turn. Or it might be time for NIN to jet off to Southern France with Sally and his daughter and for him to start fresh with a new character... Or maybe even take over Blackcat Meiko full-time and give Venom someone to actively bounce off?
J.C. and Trey being back is good news for us but there is this sense now of both men needing to prove themselves to be reliable if they do want to get places here. I've been in the same position and yeah, it can suck having cool ideas but not having someone to work with. You're both in the same position right now so why not work with each other, build a feud or an alliance and do something interesting that people will want to give you that shot. Try and get in matches with guys as much as possible as well, even if you lose most of them, you'll start creating links with guys that can lead to feuds down the line.
Feud-wise, Gordon/Keith is coming in strong although I wonder if the match announcement was a little soon. Max/Nick hasn't quite started yet but I can already see the basis of the feud and I'm looking forward to what both men do. Snail/J.J. being booked for this week is interesting, Snail's gotten the best of J.J. a few times now so I could honestly see J.J. winning the belt here and cutting Snail's first title reign short. Ash/Blade has picked up some real momentum, Ash might need to give into the goofiness of the situation a bit with Hardcore Steve being so over but fieldkicking the puppet was a pretty great turn. More on that feud in a moment.
On this show:
I can only imagine Lbm was smiling to see a match actually start a show for once. When I put the tag match on the card, I honestly didn't know if Max wanted it carried over or forgotten but I'm glad he did go and put it together, a nice concept that served two purposes, the squash to put Meiko over as a threat and also the Max Venom bragging promo. Might've been more effective starting last week's show off though but it is what it is. The core of Max's character is great, the Company Killer who actually wants to make FHT great by any means necessary, but the problem is I don't buy Max agreeing with Gordon at all, even as a hypocritical heel. They've become too chummy now and I think that gap needs to be re-established, Max is strongest when he's a tweener.
Trey's promo... It got some Twitter attention which is good. I feel like it was a joke without a punchline though. Maybe there'll be a payoff later but its a bit one-note. I don't mind the content, we're all adults here (some older adults than others), but I feel like implied drug use is funnier than actual drug use. The difference between "nobody gets higher than RVD" and a segment where RVD shoots up before a match. I missed the first line that made it clear what was happening on my first read and I was hoping it was a misunderstanding where Trey ordered a kilo of tissues as he'd been sniffing all night due to a cold. Not saying that's much better necessarily but sometimes its better to let people's imaginations fill the gaps.
Fun promo from Gordon. Explaining away a little plothole that emerged. SEI are now in charge, I think not making it a bigger thing was the right move here, it ultimately changes very little in the short-term. It does highlight what I mean though about the match being booked too soon, as it raised questions about the board that were happy to let Gordon run things until Keith asked them for a match, and Gordon keeping that match was just shy of being out-of-character for him. It might've been better with Keith chasing the match but honestly, I'm looking forward to what's next.
Short squash and promo from Austin. I'm starting to feel the current pack of jobbers are getting a little stale. It might be time we freshened up the group a bit. I like Austin treating Angel like a coward who's ducking the match, safe in the knowledge Angel's been fired and can't answer back. Heel 101 and actually touches a nerve a bit when I'm reading it, which is great. In fact, it motivated me to get my promo out immediately after to respond.
Blade and Hardcore Steve, BFFs. This was great stuff. Steve has just rejuvenated Blade's entire character and given him a unique promo style that plays to his strengths, dialogue-heavy between two characters. Right now, there might not be a better gimmick currently than the anti-hardcore wrestler talking to his mannequin. I do wonder if Blade is going to inevitably end up face sooner rather than later, Blade and Steve's interactions make both of them pretty likeable while Ash is the towering bully with the huge size advantage. That's not necessarily a bad thing but the act might lose some charm if he turns face right now.
Anyway, that's the feedback for now. Hopefully that's helped some people. Keep talking about the show, doesn't have to be anything detailed or even particularly critical but I'm sure everyone who's writing stuff would like to hear that people are reading it and any opinions they have.

^ That right there is the reason Angel is the best guy on this roster and why when he's had net issues twice in the past year this place has fallen apart!
He's reading everything and he's giving you guys feedback! He's a really good admin here and the thing is he puts so much into the feedback he has ultimately always sacrificed his own angel character!
Long overdue his turn at the top belt - loooonnnnnnggggg overdue!

Okay i slagged ash off a little bit!!! BUT I am kind of coming round to this feud!!! Hardcore Steve is over like hell!!! I love this!!! I think this could seriously be done in wrestling (I know Paul ellering did briefly!
I have said of moments I feel should be in the FHT trailer! Honestly this was one of them - the punt seen around the world! Great get out clause for both nick/blade to get out of this match!
Being nitpicky - blade is heel and so is ash! I dig the anti hardcore thing but Steve is slowly turning blade face! Or should be!!! The British Destroyer should totally return to true form to avenge Steve (I ain't read the new show yet)!

Honestly, I'm not looking to turn face anytime soon. I generally have more fun, and have more inspiration, while writing as a heel. After the heel vs. heel fued I imagine I will be building back to my more heelish approach.

I don't think there's any need to rush a face turn for Blade, its just an option he could go for in the future. But I could certainly see Blade and Steve especially getting some love from the smarkier fans.
Hope to see something from new Hardcore Champion Snail, although I realise he does have the main event this week. Speaking of championships, the promo I just posted offers a little tease at something planned for the near future.
Also saw a familiar face on the boards earlier. Too early to hope for another return? Our roster is starting to look very good indeed.

Feuds are going well. Angel/Austin just exploded and looking forward to seeing how it plays out. Blade/Ash too, a very fun feud that's helping both guys.
Tons of fascinating feedback off Angel too. Smart guy. Give it a read if you haven't.

Onto this week's Legacy!!!
Trey doing drugs = tremendously silly!!! Especially in Gordon's new vision of FHT! Only read first 2 posts so hopefully Gordon does something to him for this!
Maybe he needs some of DDP Yoga to sort his life out! Or an InTREYvention!!! Problem is trey needs someone to work with - tenfold though - he very quickly disappears - I see little of trey on the ooc - if he was a guy giving feedback to others constantly but with nothing to do - he might get noticed and get a feud a little quicker!
Where's my boy Ninja? There's a storyline - a mentoring thing! Ninja takes Trey into the academy!!!
Anyhow... Max Venom opening the show with a match was great! I loved how he put Meiko here and I would like to see NIN writing as her again a little! Add to this combo!
But the stuff max had to say! Max is verging for me on CM Punk levels! I think he's getting so hated but he's not the corporate guy - he's rogue! Character is interesting! He just needs someone to shut his mouth!!! Great opening max!!!

Ninja/Trey should totally run with Lbm's idea could be a huge break for Trey. Also Trey even if you don't post feedback try posting OOC to let people know your around and still looking for a feud.
I think Steve needs a love struck groupie with the pic base of the "Scream Queen" Daffney which would fit in with the group would also be good if Nightmare returned with the pic base of Raven's Flock Billy Kidman
Steve- Leader/Mouth Piece Blade - Heavyweight Nightmare - Hardcore Casey/Razor - Tag Daffney - Valet
Main event is up hope everyone was finished on this show....

Great show with a lot of twists and turns. Blade/Ash and his new bodyguards, NIN getting fired, Snail confronting Gordon and then losing the Hardcore Title to an insane clown who has worked hard for that moment of recognition.
Snail dropping the belt is a ballsy move but I think the right one. Snail/J.J. as a feud just stepped up a gear. And with the Legacy Title coming in, there's definitely more room for the Hardcore Title to be used in more experimental ways, people taking risks and in general having shorter reigns with the belt being passed around a lot more.

With the announcement of Blade vs. Ash at Wrestletopia I am opening the floor to suggestions for the 3rd match in the 3 Stages of Hell match if it comes to that. I'll then pick 3 and put them up for a vote

Puppet on a pole. I'm taking that from the Vince Russo booking playbook.

Sorry i don't post much ooc stuff i'll try do it more often. I'm limted to when i feel well when i post, i suffer from real life mental health problems that make it hard to concentrate. I'll try and get something up for this show anyway. Maybe a squash match against a jobber or something.
