Dong...

Dong...
Dong...
Dong...
The crowd give a big ovation as out from the back walks Dark Angel, still looking beaten and bruised, but shrugging off the pain tonight.
Gary King: Two weeks on from that vicious assault at the hands of Crusher Casey, Dark Angel's mind is now got to be on anything but the big man. Next week at Supershow 4, Angel has to step into the ring with Keith Williams, the tag team partner of his best friend, Lbm.
Rachel Beckett: Jealously is an ugly word, Gary, but so applicable here. Dark Angel is whining and crying about how he's not Lbm's number one guy anymore... Its pathetic! Angel needs to have his mind on Casey, not on his hurt feelings.
Dark Angel stands in the ring, awaiting the rival of Sentience. However, the music he hears is a fair bit different to Sentience's theme.
Don't Lie To Yourself, It Gave You Pleasure...
OH MY GOD OH MY-
OH MY GOD OH MY-
The fans boo heavily but it is obvious they are confused by the arrival of Max Venom, as is Angel standing in the ring. Venom has the Global Honored Crown around his waist and oddly enough, is wearing a big badge with the words “Happy Anniversary” on it. He's also got a microphone in hand to address everyone in attendance.
Max Venom: You forgot! You all forgot! One year ago, on this very day, you were blessed with Max Venom signing a FHT/ELITE contract in the middle of the ring. Yet not one of you have made note of this fact, or joined the celebrations. So you know what? The Max Venom One Year Anniversary Party is happening right now! Bring the balloons! Bake a cake! Get rid of gothboy in the ring there!
As typical generic party music plays, out from the back comes what looks like the contents of a circus, some holding balloons, others cakes and a man on stilts holding up a painted portrait of Max Venom himself. Dark Angel stares a hole through Venom from the ring, who fires off a party popper into the crowd as a response. A clown enters the ring and hands Angel a balloon animal, which Angel promptly bursts.
Max Venom: Not in a partying mood, Angel? ...Oh right! You had that little tiff with Lbm, didn't you? Messy stuff. Why don't you go mope about it in some dark corner while the Max Venom One Year Anniversary goes down?
As Angel demands a microphone to response with, Venom walks up to a woman with a beard holding a cake. He dips a finger into the icing and places in his mouth, and then gives the woman a thumbs up.
Dark Angel: Venom, in case you've forgotten, we both have matches, and I'm about to have mine right now. So if you and your family members would kindly get the hell out of the arena, I won't have to hurt you.
The party entourage has surrounded the ring, not wanting to get in while Angel is in there. Venom walks up the stairs and into the ring, and the two men go face-to-face.
Max Venom: Hurt me? That won't be the first time you've promised something you can't deliver on. How many chances at me have you had now, five? Hell, I took your pride and joy, the Global Honored Crown, and you made the same promises before getting distracted and side-tracked by Crusher Casey. And now he's beaten the living daylights out of you, and you have every reason to want revenge, what are you doing? Getting into fights with Keith Williams instead! You've got a lot of unfinished business, Angel, and I think it simply comes down to you not having the guts to follow through on your tough words.
There's a hush on the crowd as Venom smirks and Angel stares right back at him... Also smiling? Angel brings the microphone up to his mouth.
Dark Angel: Not finishing what you started, huh? You mean like you with Lbm, your mortal rival for all of two weeks, before he took your precious tag titles and you lost all will to fight? How about your speeches about how all the champions are lazy... What happened to “Max Venom's Choice” two weeks ago? Hell, tonight's your first defence of that belt since winning it, but instead of actually doing it, you're out here playing the clown! And I haven't even touched on the biggest example... Max Venom, what happened to the Uprising again?
Big pop from the crowd as Venom's smile slides right off his face. He starts to pace the ring as Angel observes him, looking victorious.
Max Venom: You know what happened with the Uprising? Everyone in the back can spin their little stories about how it was proof the veterans won, that the Uprising were flawed... Let's actually look at this though... For half of this year, a year I've heard referred to as our best for some time, who were the main attractions? The Uprising. Who got the attention and were the ones people wanted to beat in 2009? The Uprising. Right now, where did the current owner of FHT/ELITE, the unstoppable psychopath FHT Hardcore Champion and the constant highlight of the show and ELITE Global Honored Crown holder come from? The Uprising! And did you veterans ever beat the Uprising? Did you conquer us with your skill, your experience or your egos? No! You lucked out, you were fortunate enough that half the stable got injured at the same time! You had nothing, all the veterans who came back, came back to get humiliated and leave again... RDJ, The Peep's Champ, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Satan and Trippy, just to mention a few. The only reason you veterans held onto your precious status quo is because Ace Andrews happened to land on his head and RDJ is a violent criminal who is now probably in jail where he belongs! Your entire federation survived because of a roll of the dice!
Suddenly both men are interrupted by “Walk” by Pantera as the fans give a respectful pop to Trey Spruance who stumbles out with another microphone in hand. He seems momentarily amused by the clowns at ringside but enters the ring, looking at both men.
Trey Spruance: See, its this kinda back-and-forth bullshit that made me leave the Uprising! For someone so obsessed with the future, Venom, you sure like to go on about the past a whole lot!
Dark Angel: Wow, Venom, even the stoner is scoring points off you. Why don't you celebrate one year of over-estimating yourself by losing your title to him, huh?
There's a pause as Venom seems to be contemplating something. With a signal to ringside, the circus members slowly walk to the back, taking their party materials with them.
Max Venom: Actually Trey, now I come to think about it, I remember why you really left the Uprising! You deluded yourself that you were somehow better than all of us and could make it on your own... And seeing that since then you've achieved absolutely nothing of note, we can say you were completely incorrect! The only reason you are anybody in this promotion is because of me! I made you, and God do I wish I hadn't bothered!
“IT IS, THE END OF ALL HOPE”
All three men look towards the entrance ramp now as Heretics Anonymous member Sentience comes down to the ring. He stands next to Venom, microphone in hand, mirroring Angel and Trey.
Sentience: Such foolishness and folly exhibited by the two of you. I see that the fumes you inhale, Spruance, has affected your judgement. To inject yourself into this discussion was a mistake, for you have been tagged by our leader, Blade, for destruction. So coming out here during what is scheduled to be my match was truly a miscalculation on your part. As for Dark Angel, you have already committed grievous crimes against our leader over the years, and it is only through his compassion and mercy you still walk today. Max Venom, as has always been the case, the Heretics respect you, and will aid you in ridding this ring of the ignorance dwelling within it.
Max Venom: Cool. Good to see you, Sentience. Did you know I slept with that female Heretics member?
Sentience: ...Quite.
Ace Andrews: Ok, this has gone on long enough.
All four members look up to the big screen above the ramp, where the scowling face of Ace Andrews is looking down on them.
Max Venom: Hey Andy Pipkin, come to wish me a Happy One Year Anniversary? You know, with your head on that big monitor up there, we can now say you're big-headed in two ways. Without it being a dirty joke this time.
Ace Andrews: You know, Venom, I own two stress balls. One for natural stress from running an international wrestling company, and another just reserved for dealing with you. I have got you a great little anniversary gift though. Seeing as you've gone and tangled up our last two matches like that, I'm changing it into a tag team match. However, because I feel extra generous, its going to still be for the Global Honored Crown. So if either Angel or Trey pins you or Sentience, they win the gold. Many happy returns, Venom.
The mood quickly changes in the ring as Trey and Angel head over to one corner and Venom and Sentience go to another. The referee holds up the Global Honored Crown as the bell rings to start the main event.
