The FHT/Elite arena is buzzing more than it has in months, and the crowd are almost unanimously on their feet, still chanting FHT/ELITE! However the mood seems to die down a little as the PA system kicks into life with ‘Blackjack’ by Airbourne.Rollin' the dice Never thinkin' twice The crowd is on their feet, torn between jeering one of the biggest jerks in recent history for FHT/Elite, and roaring at his appearance on what is going to be one of the final shows. The former FHT Undisputed Champion saunters out from the back, in one hand a clipboard but his face seems to show even he is feeling the emotion, a slight smile on his face, as he pauses at the top of the ramp, and looks around slowly. Ace slowly shuffles down the ramp, and up the steps into the ring. Ace darts over to the roadie and holds out a single hand, asking for a mike which is quickly given to him. Ace slowly saunters back to the center of the ring, gazing around at the crowd. After a few seconds pause Ace raises the mike slowly.AA-”You know, I haven’t been at FHT/Elite as long as some here. I haven’t got as much history as many to look back over, and reminisce fondly about. I mean, in my 18 months in FHT/Elite, what have I done? Really? I mean, think about all the guys that come back over the past show or two. There are guys like Ulster, Blade, and Phillip K Young. Guys who have never held a World Title. Then there is Venom, who was FHT Champion ONCE. And then there is a guy like me. A guy who in my 18 months here, has been ELITE World Heavyweight Champion. FHT Undisputed Champion. I won Ultimate ELITE III. I’m a Two Time Tag Champ. And let’s not forget, I still own 51% of FHT/Elite. So I guess, when you think about it, and I mean really think about it.”Ace slowly pauses and pauses in mid ring rubbing his jaw slowly before he raises the mike with a smirk.AA-”I’m better than those old fogies EVER where.”The crowd turns on Ace in an instant, raining jeers down on him as he laughs mid ring before raising the mike again.AA-”Face the facts. In my short time here, I’ve eclipsed everyone. I’ve gone above and beyond expectations, and I’ve proven i AM the greatest damn wrestler FHT and Elite ever saw. You can hate me all you want for that, but you know it’s true. And all these old farts, hobbling down the ramp looking for one more shot of glory in FHT and Elites dying days, are just proving me more and more right. None of them can say they’ve been as consistently great as I have. None of them can say they’ve stood up and proven to be better then nearly the entire roster. I proved I was better then EVERYONE in one single night. And now here I stand, still the owner, and a 2 time World Champ. I’ve beaten Red Ninja. I’ve beaten LBM. I’ve beaten The Peeps Champ. I’ve beaten Blade. The facts remain simple. I am THE best talent FHT and Elite has seen, and when it closes down, I damn sure won’t miss it.”Ace smirks evilly as one half of the crowd stands up with a massive FHT chant and the other half starts roaring ELITE. Ace simply chuckles and then looks around and goes to raise the mike but the crowd won’t die down. Finally Ace raises the mike again anyway.AA-”Lighting boys, how about we turn off the lights on the left and right side of the arena please. I’m getting sick of this.”There’s a momentary pause and then the left and right sides of the crowd go dark! Ace waits for the stunned crowd to die down in their confusion, then he speaks again.AA-”Never forget, I still have the power to shut this entire place down on a whim. So you sit in your seats, you shut the hell up, and you let me finish or I swear to god I’ll end this show RIGHT NOW!”The crowd dies down a little and Ace smirks and waves his wrist a little, which seems to be a preset signal as the lights go back on. Ace then pauses and slowly raises the mike again.AA-”Much better. Now, as for what I plan on doing now that FHT/Elite is closing, its simple. In my right hand I hold a clipboard. Even inbred hicks such as you should easily be able to see that. Now, on this clipboard is a contract. This contract states that I am willing to put up all 51% of my stock in any match I have from now until the end of days. So starting next week, there will be an open challenge, week in and week out. Ace Andrews VS anyone of those pusher-carrying easily-forgetting broken-spined old farts that can make it to the ring. And if they win, I sign over my stock. I will give it to whoever beats me. All you have to do is pin my shoulders to the mat for 3, or make me tapout. That’s it.”Ace slowly lowers the mike and smirks as the crowd seems to be buzzing over the announcement. Ace then raises the mike again.AA-”But, none of you are good enough to do that. I’ve proven ever since I got herer, I’m better then any talent you ever saw. And when FHT and Elite closes, it will miss me, but I’ll never miss it. The rest of you are obsessed with this place. Without it, you’ve got nothing. But me? I’ll still be a Billionaire. I’ll still be the Platinum Made Playboy. And I’ll still be Ace Andrews. But you guys will be nothing. So before you step into the ring with me, remember just because I’ve thrown in one hell of a pot, I still have the better hand. And if you step up to face me, you will get ACED!!!!”Ace then tosses the mike to one side and snickers one more as he turns and walks backstage as the camera switches to Gary King and Rachel Bennet.GK-”WHAT AN ANNOUNCMENT! Ace Andrews will put up his stock against ANYONE! Someone finally has the chance to shut that cocky bastards mouth!”
RB-”Just because they have a chance, doesn’t mean they have a hope. Ace Andrews has it all on the line from this point forward, i don’t think there’s much chance someone will be able to shut him up.”

As Ace is walking up the ramp towards the back, suddenly "alcohol and ass" begins to play over the p.a. system. The fans stand on their feet in anticipation of who is about to set foot out from behind the curtain. Ace stops in his tracks.
Keith Williams appears at the top of the ramp. Ace begins to back down the ramp. Keith starts walking down the ramp. The whole time Ace is slowly backing up. When he gets to the ring, Ace slides into it. Keith walks up the steps and steps into the ring. He walks over and asks for a microphone.
Keith Williams: Ace, just stand there for one moment. We got business to discuss but first I have a few things to get off my chest.
The fans pop and start a Keith chant.
Keith Williams: 6 years ago I stepped into this very ring. I ended up costing Lbm the world heavyweight championship that very first night I set foot in here. I ain't out here to apologize about it, its in the past and gonna stay that way. But from that moment my life changed. If someone would had asked me what my goals were in FHT that night, I would had just said I wanted to entertain the fans. Thats all that mattered.
During the course of my career, I have held every time. I been FHT World Champion twice, FHT TV champ a record 4 times, 3 times I have held the Tag team belts, making me a better tag wrestler than Reaper and Ninja, and held the hardcore championship. You add the Elite World title and the daredevil championship and you can say that I have had a pretty good run in this business.
People come up to me in the streets and tell me how they remember me wrestling so and so, or asking me for satisfactions phone number. But one thing that everyone asks me at one point is what was my favorite feud in FHT. People name off my Joker feud, Trippy feud, my on again off again feud with LBM, Red Ninja, Reaper, Phoenix, Satan, or Ulster. And to that I reply to them each and every time, my feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin...
The fans begin a "we want Stone Cold" chant.
Keith Williams: I agree. I would love to one more time before those doors close forever to face him but right now I don't think the chances of that are too good. But also on the flip side, people ask me what my biggest regret is in FHT. Anyone that knows me could tell you the answer to that one. My biggest regret is never facing Venom in the center of this ring one on one. Sure we were involved in the Wargames match and a tag match at a house show, but never that one on one match up.
Venom is a enigma in FHT. People always talk about him. How he can out perform on the mic and also in the ring. How he takes people to the limit in their match. When I first came into FHT, I was in awe of the man. Every time he came out here and did a promo, I acted like I was 10 yrs old watching a old Randy Savage or Jake "the Snake" Roberts promo.
One time I was offered a chance to wrestle Venom one on one, but I passed it up. I felt I wasn't on his level just yet and I wanted to be able to give the man justice in a feud. But when the time came that i felt ready, he disappeared. And the regret set in.
Now tonight I was hanging out with some friends of mine, just drinking and playing cards. I happened to catch the first part of this show on the tv and saw Venom on my screen. I was in shock just like everyone in this arena. I never thought I would ever see him on my screen again.
That is what brought me back tonight. I had officially decided to call it quits. I was happy with everything that I have done in FHT. I was ready to call it a day. But seeing Venom here made that hunger come back. I don't want to go out with a whimper but with a bang.
Venom, I know you are in the back. I ain't calling you out tonight.I want you to get a few matches under your belt. I don't want any excuses. At the next ppv, I am challenging you to a match. I want the one match I never thought I would get. I want to know which one of us was the better. I want Keith Williams/Shadowwalker vs Venom. If this be FHT's last ppv, I want to go out knowing just who was the best.
But until then...
Keith looks over to Ace who is still standing there. Keith walks over and grabs the clipboard out of Aces hand. He then grabs a pen that is sticking out of Aces pocket. He then scribbles his signature onto the paper
Keith Williams: Looks like I be seeing you next week there Ace...
Keith shoves the clipboard into Aces chest and steps out of the ring. He salutes the crowd as FHT goes to commercial..

As Monday Night Legacy comes back from the commercial break, a backstage crew member is walking through the hallway. A camera is following him as he stops at “Sick” Nick’s dressing room door. The backstage crew member knocks on Nick’s door.
Backstage Crew Member: Nick.
There is no answer at the door. The crew member waits a second, then knocks again.
Backstage Crew Member: Nick!
Again, no answer. The crew member waits another second, and then opens the door. “For Whom The Bell Tolls” by Metallica is blasting as Nick is playing Guitar Hero: Metallica.
Backstage Crew Member: Nick?
The end of the song is coming up as “Sick” Nick is whaling away at the buttons on the guitar controller.
“Sick” Nick (Screaming!): YEA ! ! !
Nick takes the guitar controller by the neck and smashes it to the ground, shattering it into hundreds of little pieces.
“Sick” Nick (Screaming!): 100% on easy! TAKE THAT ! ! !
Nick pauses for a second.
“Sick” Nick: Damn it! I did it again. That’s the fifth guitar this week!
Backstage Crew Member: Nick?
“Sick” Nick: Whoa. Hey there. I didn’t know you were there.
Backstage Crew Member: Umm. Your segment is up next.
“Sick” Nick: Oh. I’ll be right there.
Wally Wilson: It looks like Nick is up next… Right after this commercial break.
Rachel Beckett: Commercial break? We just came back from one.
Wally Wilson: Well, that’s what happens when we need to pay the bills. “Sick” Nick… Next!
Legacy goes to a commercial break.

As we come back from yet another commercial break, the audience is waiting for “Sick” Nick when “Down With The Sickness” by Disturbed hits the arena. The crowd goes nuts as the FHT Hardcore Champion emerges from behind the curtain. Nick makes his way down to the ring and climbs inside. He is handed a mic and waits for the crowd to die down.
“Sick” Nick: You know. I have to admit, I am really disappointed in _the j-man. I am disappointed in Darren Ackerson. I reached out to him. I asked him to be my last opponent. It was going to be perfect. The Joker or _the j-man, whichever he showed up as, versus “Sick” Nick in a 60-Minute Hardcore Iron-Man Match. We were going to tear the roof off the arena, build it back up and tear it off again! But no. What happens instead? Darren Ackerson no shows.
The crowd boos.
“Sick” Nick: I mean why would _the j-man no show me? He told me he would be there. So for the past couple of weeks I tried to figure it out. Then it hit me. The Joker is afraid of me. Darren Ackerson is afraid of “Sick” Nick.
The crowd boos Nick’s comments.
“Sick” Nick: No. Hear me out. It all makes sense. For over a year we wrestled in the same company and wrestled one on one, one time! And Reaper interfered at the end of that match. Then the few times I wrestled in Elite, not once did _the j-man wrestle me. I mean, I hate to admit it just as much as you, but Darren Ackerson fears “Sick” Nick. There are just no other explanations!
A ‘”Sick” Nick’ chant competes with a ‘j-man’ chant.
“Sick” Nick: I want _the j-man to prove me wrong.
Nick lays the Hardcore title down on the mat, right in front of his feat.
“Sick” Nick: Darren, prove me wrong. Show up at FHT/ELITE: 4 Life and face me in a 60-Minute Hardcore Iron-Man Match for the FHT Hardcore Title! Let’s celebrate both the FHT and ELITE with the bloodiest knock ‘em down, drag ‘em out brawl anyone has ever seen. As a matter of fact, lets book a two bed hospital room now so we can reminisce about the good ol’ days in the FHT while we are hooked up to a morphine drip, immediately following our match!
The crowd goes nuts as Nick drops the mic and heads out of the ring.
Wally Wilson: Let’s hope that we see these two battle it out in Nick’s last ever match at FHT and ELITE’s last ever show!

[glow=red,2,300]THE FHT/ELITE logo appears on the Titantron.... [/glow]
Static covers the screen....and it goes to a test pattern
Venom shows up on the screen, standing in the corner of a darkened room.
THE CROWD POPS BIG TIME.
VENOM: So many unanswered questions.....so many challenges....so little time. Hell....we don't even know who LBM is challenging tonight for that belt. I guess that's partly why I've stuck around all night....if you catch my drift.
A VENOM CHANT STARTS UP
VENOM: But something else happened. And that's why I'm on this screen right now. I got some stuff to say and it's not gonna keep till the next show. Personally, if I got something to say, I don't want to be standing out there in the ring rubbing my chin thoughtfully while the credits roll.
He leans toward the camera.
VENOM: I got something to say about Keith Williams. Keith....you came out there and did us all two favors. First....you shut Ace the hell up. That was f'in awesome. His whiny little voice was making my ears bleed.
THE CROWD POPS.
VENOM: Second.....I got to set the record straight. You came out here, Keith...and you gave me props. You gave me a lot of respect. Maybe I deserve it, maybe not. But then....you said something I disagree with. And everyone that knows me knows that I shoot straight when I disagree with something. You said that you weren't good enough to challenge me back in the day. And that is simply bullshit.
THE CROWD POPS HUGE.
VENOM: You know, back in the day, I was one cocky piece of work. But age changes people. I didn't come out here and talk about how much I respected people. Hell, I was taught by some of the greatest in this sport. People like the Hart Family. Stone Cold Steve Austin. HBK.
HUGE POP FOR THOSE SUPERSTARS.
VENOM: To make a long story short, Keith....I've always respected you. I've met you in the ring and I've tagged with you. And I'm standing right here to say that if you want to meet me in the ring, or if you need someone to watch your back.....I'm there. No questions asked.
THE CROWD GOES NUTS.
VENOM: I got something else to say. I know you probably all got your opinions about 'Sick Nick.' I remember him from back in the day. His hardcore legend is second to none. He showed up in the fed and made it what it is today...no damn question about that.
A GREAT POP FOR SICK NICK.
VENOM: He came out here tonight and threw down the gauntlet for one of the baddest, craziest motherf*****s I've ever had the honor to throw down with. EVER. No matter what they call him now....I know him as the Joker. And I gotta go with Nick on this one. I hope he comes back. I want to see him in that ring again. I got something to say to him. And that's all I got to say about that now.
A HUGE POP FOR THE J-MAN.
VENOM: I got one more thing to say....to all the original FHT members....and all the new guys in the back....even to Mr. 51%....
I'm just about to make things around here REALLY interesting. Bet on it.
[glow=red,2,300]Venom laughs in the camera as the screen goes to static.[/glow]

Dong...
Dong...
Dong... [As “Out of the Fire” hits, the fans rise to their feet, giving the returning Angel a good pop despite the exhaustion from doing it all night. The lights flicker off as Dark Angel emerges from the back, surveying over the crowd, before hobbling to the ring. There's definitely a noticeable limp in Angel's walk as he heads down to the ring, raising the lights as he enters, and taking a microphone from ring announcer Erik Knights]
Wally Wilson: Angel doesn't look in the best condition, to be honest. We know Angel disappeared a few months back after an impressive run, including finally breaking his nearly five year streak of never winning a singles title.
Rachel Beckett: When we last saw him, Casey had completely dismantled the former ELITE Global Honored Crown holder, hitting a devastating Casey-Bomb on a car and later through a steel chair, just part of a vicious assault that Angel still doesn't look fully recovered from.
[The crowd starts an “Angel” chant, which Angel looks almost embarrassed by. It takes the fans a few minutes to settle down enough for DA to speak]
Dark Angel: I don't deserve that, but thank you. I was sure my comeback wouldn't have been well-received, but maybe you're just all in a good mood. After all, seeing guys like Keith Williams, “Sick” Nick, Ulster and the legend himself, Venom, all come back for you guys and this promotion, well, I guess that helps cheer you up. Let's face it, despite all the glitz and celebration and triumph we've seen and heard about tonight, this is a sad occasion. Its how many years now, combined? I wanna say five for FHT, three for ELITE and three for the combined promotion, but as you might've seen, I've taken a few nasty beatings, and I think that's caused me to forget maths...
Dark Angel: Its a sad time, because after over a combined decade of the lot of us shortening each other's lifespans, its nearly over. I've not always been there, and I've not always been Mr Consistent, but I love this place. Everything about it, really. And its going to be so odd not having it around next year. So yes, its a party but its also a funeral. Its the end of an era, but we're going out in style, unlike every other promotion who coughs a feeble last breath before quietly dying. And I'm going to be a big part of that style.
[Round of applause from the fans, who start alternating “FHT” and “ELITE” chants in pride for this company's magnificent achievements]
Dark Angel: See, I'm really beaten up. Hell, I'm nearly broken. This is it for me, as I'm sure it is for a whole load of others here tonight. The WWE ain't coming knocking on my door after it ends, TNA ain't ringing me up and RoH probably doesn't even know my e-mail address. But I've got enough left in my tank for one last run. And there's so many guys I want to face, men I've faced before countless times, men I've faced once or twice but never that defining match, and guys I've never actually gone against. My knee may well be hanging on by a thread now, because of a certain somebody cutting medical insurance for us veterans, but I refuse to let my own legacy end on an injury, and I refuse to not be a part of FHT/ELITE's last stand!
[Again, the fans respond in kind. Angel takes a deep breath, shaking his limbs slightly, and grimacing slightly, but his eyes show passion and determination]
Dark Angel: I don't know if FHT/ELITE 4-Life will happen in three days or three months, but even if its the latter, I doubt that'll be enough time to face everyone I want to face. So I've set myself two major objectives for my last moments and the federation's last moments. One, Dark Angel will be going for the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship, the one challenge in my career I have never met. I not only aim to win the belt, I aim to be the last ever holder of it. And some of you might be thinking “Hey, Angel, you don't deserve that accomplishment, hell, you don't even deserve right now to face off for that belt”. And I'd agree with you, but for my second goal: I'm taking a leaf out of my good buddy Lbm's book and pledge to wrestle on every show from now till the very end. That way, not only will I earn the right to go for the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship, I maximise my chances at facing as many people as possible before its all over. Sure, I might be banged up, but I don't care if I break my arms and legs, because I will crawl down to that ring using my fucking teeth to compete one more time.
[Huge pop here as Angel lays down his promise to compete on every Legacy from now until the end! A big “Angel” chant rings out from the fans]
Dark Angel: And when I say “from now”, I mean it. I know this show is nearly over, and I know the man at Channel 4 might be looking at his watch, worrying. However, I will take on anyone who feels up to a match tonight! I won't stand in the ring waiting, because I've always felt that's a bit rude, but I'm sure by now you all know where I am. One last run, one more dose of Unearthly Destruction... I'm ready.
[As “Out of the Fire” starts up again so Angel can make his way out, Wally Wilson and Rachel Beckett discuss what they just heard]
Wally Wilson: An intense Dark Angel there, wanting to have one last great run here and end it all holding the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship! I guess we'll have to just wait and see!
Rachel Beckett: But how many others do you think want to end their careers holding that very belt? And let's face it, this wouldn't be the first time Dark Angel has made grandiose promises that he can't deliver on...

Dark Angel makes it halfway up the ramp before his music cuts out. Angel stops as all the lights in the arena blindingly flash on while the opening synth line of “Death” hits the p.a. The fans erupt in jeers as “Bulletproof” comes on the p.a. The lights go back to normal to reveal ELITE World Heavyweight Champion NIN Horror standing on the entrance ramp. Some loud cheers are heard scattered amongst the hate as NIN takes it all in. NIN is wearing black jeans, black gloves, a black moto jacket, and the World Title belt around his waist. NIN stares Angel down through expensive looking black shades before he starts walking down the ramp. NIN tells Angel he’ll want to wait around for this as walks by. NIN slides into the ring and gets the mc from Erik Knights. NIN holds up the mic to speak as hi music fades out, but the fans cut him off. NIN looks around at the jeering fans before finally speaking.
NIN Horror: Well of course, I take a little vacation and this whole operation goes belly up. I guess this means that all those things I said about myself over the years were true. Without me week in week out to drive up ratings, without me to put the ingrates in the seats, without me to push the merch, this FHT/ELITE well has finally run dry. Now despite what you may think, I didn’t come here tonight for pure self aggrandizement, or just to rub salt in the company’s wounds. As you have clearly seen here, tonight is no ordinary episode of Legacy. The writing is on the wall and everyone and their mother is coming back for a piece of the action. Just tonight we’ve seen the returns of some of the all time greats, and also Dark Angel.
The fans pop as Angel crosses his arms.
NIN Horror: So naturally I’m not going to miss the most important time in FHT/ELITE’s history. This is a very strange party, and I’m going to make the most of it. I’ve spent more than three years hating this company; in fact I came in for the express purpose of destroying it. Yet, and you all may be surprised to hear this, there were times that I even—enjoyed—being here!
The fans up swell in surprise.
NIN Horror: That’s right. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have fun. I may have hated flying to England every week, and I may have hated dealing with you fans, and I may have hated dealing with the management, and I may have hated dealing with some of the boys in the back, but I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t want to.
The fans start cheering—
NIN Horror: Yankees suck!
And then start booing.
NIN Horror: But never forget that I always loved making you hate me. There were undoubtedly times when I was apathetic to this company, but as they say, the opposite of love is not hate, but apathy, and right now I feel the opposite of apathy. Do I love the face that I will have the last laugh over all of you? Yes. Do I hate the fact that I won’t get to anger and insult you anymore? Yes. I will definitely enjoy ruining your night, and I will definitely miss doing so. So that leaves me with one option: walk out here every night until it’s done.
The fans erupt in cheers and jeers.
NIN Horror: It’s not like I have nothing to do. There’s a few “legends” running around I haven’t beaten. Maybe I’ll take Ace up on his offer and take control of this company. I’d hate to be the millionth person tonight to name drop Lbm, but we too have unfinished business. And of course there’s the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship! I still have it, and I intend to keep it till the bitter end. And that’s where you come in.
Angel uncrosses his arms as NIN points at him.
NIN Horror: Let’s cut to the chase. You want to take my belt, and I want to stop you. So here you are and here I am, why wait any longer? If you can limp back into this ring, I’ll put the title on the line right now. Are you up for it? Will you walk into this ring, or will you just walk away again?
The fans get on their feet as NIN drops the mic and takes off his sunglasses…

[Angel takes the briefest of moments to consider NIN's offer before he's straight back into the ring to the delight of the fans. NIN heads back to the corner, handing his jacket and sunglasses to a nearby stage-hand with a strict warning about its care, while Angel in the opposite corner is hurriedly stretching out in preparation for the match. NIN, with great reluctance, allows referee Leon Sparx to take his World Title and hold it aloft as Erik Knights reads out the introductions]
Erik Knights: Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time for your main event of the evening, and it is for the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, from Parts Unknown, weighing in at 300 pounds exactly, he is the Master of the Unearthly Destroyer, the Darrrrrrrrk Annnnnnngeeelllll!
[Huge pop for Angel who raises up an open hand to acknowledge the fans, before gripping it tightly in warning for NIN, who looks unimpressed. Leon shows Angel the gold, and Angel stares at it hungrily]
Erik Knights: And his opponent, from Ft. Worth, Texas, by way of Transylvania, weighing in at 230 pounds, he is the self-proclaimed best wrestler in the world today, and current ELITE World Heavyweight Championship, “The New Horror Show” NIN Hoooorrrrrooorrrrr!
[The boos just rain down on NIN, the fans firmly in the corner of Angel here tonight, but NIN just smiles. He gives the referee a curt nod as he shows him the gold, mouthing that it “won't be long” before he has it around his waist again. Erik Knights takes the belt off Leon and heads outside, and the timekeeper rings the bell to start the contest!]
Wally Wilson: What a chance! What an opportunity here tonight for Dark Angel to dethrone NIN Horror and add the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship to his resume before his career is over! You've got to think he'll bring it all tonight!
Rachel Beckett: And it won't be good enough! NIN on his worst day could easily beat Angel on his best, and quite frankly, Angel looks far, far from his best out there tonight. I can only apologise to the fans that our main event tonight is going to be so short.
[Immediately, an “Angel” chant rings out from the fans as the two men circle each other, before locking up. Angel slowly starts to push NIN back, who counters with an armlock. Angel pulls back on the arm, whipping NIN out and pulling him back, looking for the clothesline, which NIN ducks. NIN comes bouncing off the ropes and charging in with a spear, which Angel just about dodges. NIN carries his momentum naturally into a roll and is back on his feet and the two men face each other once again. NIN extends an arm, looking for a lock-up, which Angel goes towards, only to receive a sharp kick to the knee from a feinting NIN, who repeats the attack several times. He goes to the well once too often, however, and Angel grabs the leg and simply lifts it up. NIN loses his footing and hits the mat hard, but quickly rolls away from Angel and gets back to his feet in the corner. Angel charges towards NIN, who avoids the near seven-footer, who smacks straight into the turnbuckle. NIN tries to capitalize with a running bulldog, but as he gets the head lock in, Angel uses that immense strength to throw NIN's already airborne body that bit further, and the ELITE Champion goes flying over the top rope, to the delight of the fans!]
Rachel Beckett: Angel getting a lucky break and managing to send NIN flying right out of the ring there! Of course, Angel can't win the belt by count-out, which maybe explains why NIN is happy to take a breather on the outside for a moment.
[The referee gets to seven in his potential twenty count, with NIN taking his time getting back in, even indulging in a bit of crowd-baiting, who boo him heavily. He slides back into the ring, where Angel pounces with some stomps, but NIN has it scouted and grabs the foot, twisting and pulling at the ankle and using this to keep Angel at bay while he gets to a vertical base. NIN sweeps the leg from under Angel, still holding that ankle lock in, dragging Angel from the ropes and into the middle of the ring. He then applies a leg vice on the leg of Angel's he's working on, completely grounding the big man. Angel uses his free leg to roughly kick at NIN's face, and after three or four of these, NIN drops the hold, getting right up to continue working on the ankle of Angel, stomping down hard on it as Angel tries to back off into the ropes. NIN takes a moment to gloat to the fans, who take a moment themselves to shower the Champion with boos. Angel uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet, grimacing slightly as weight goes on the ankle. NIN charges at Angel, who lifts him over the ropes, but NIN lands steady on the apron and wraps his arm around Angel's neck, before dropping down to the floor, sending Angel's neck bouncing off the top rope. NIN is straight back in to press the advantage as Angel clutches his neck, jumping up to hit a running enziguri, only for Angel to catch him and slam him down to the mat with a modified spinebuster]
Wally Wilson: Counters galore in this fast-pasted match between Angel and NIN! The younger wrestlers in the back should be taking notes right now!
[Angel drops a knee right down on the temple of NIN, before forcefully picking him up. Angel hooks him under his arm, and lifting him up in the air, stalling it as the fans applaud and blood rushes to NIN's head. Angel tries now to spike NIN down for the brainbuster, but NIN wriggles out behind Angel, hitting a reverse neckbreaker on his way down. NIN eyes up his next move, heading to the turnbuckle and removing the pad, causing the referee to warn NIN and start putting back on... As NIN casually strolls to the opposite corner, effortlessly ripping the pad there clean off. Angel is up and tries to charge at NIN as his back is turned, but NIN drops to the ground, hitting a drop toehold that sends Angel careening into the exposed steel of the turnbuckle! Angel tries to rise up from the disadvantageous position, but NIN Horror makes an impressive leap to hit a dropkick that sends Angel's head once again bouncing off the steel! There's a clear cut on Angel's forehead now, and NIN wastes no time pounding his fists into it, trying to draw more blood out of the Dark Angel. The referee is finally done putting the turnbuckle case on, and seems annoyed to see another exposed one right by NIN's assault. He calls NIN off Angel, who rolls right out of the ring as the referee tries to hurriedly fix the second turnbuckle cover]
Wally Wilson: What a disappointment there from NIN! We had a strong, fair technical showcase going and he lowers the tone with that blatant disregard for the rules!
Rachel Beckett: Hey, to anyone else, the ring is just where you have your matches. To NIN Horror, its another weapon he can use to brutalize his opponent. He's been using the ring to his advantage all match, and look who's bleeding because of it!
[Angel obviously needs a moment to find his bearings, but NIN isn't going to let that happen. He slides out of the ring feet first, crashing into Angel, who in turn goes crashing into the announcer table. NIN glances up at the referee, focused on fixing the damage done by NIN, and quickly rushes over to the table, ripping the monitor from its position and taking a swing at Angel, who just about ducks, the vicious blow so close it causes his hair to ripple back from the wind. NIN tries for another shot, but Angel manages a huge big boot, hitting the monitor right back into NIN's face! NIN staggers back into the barricade, where the fans get up close and personal with the World Champion, as Angel lifts NIN up and drops him down into the barricade, the blow landing right on NIN's neck! Angel now whips NIN towards the stairs, but NIN runs up then, getting onto the ring apron, where he leaps from, an elbow aimed directly for Angel's skull connecting with a sickening crack. NIN takes a breath and turns his attention to the ring, where the referee has been counting steadily and has reached thirteen! NIN rolls in and starts mocking Angel, who is out cold on the floor outside. The fans are willing Angel on... Fourteen... There's slight stirring in Angel... Fifteen... Angel slowly staggers up, looking out of it... Sixteen... The fans are all screaming and pointing to the ring, but the blow seems to have knocked Angel for a loop and he's slow to respond... Seventeen... Finally Angel seems to get what's going on and quickly makes it onto the apron... Nineteen, and NIN Horror is there waiting, jumping off the ropes and landing a kick to the back of Angel's head! NIN rises up so he's on his knees, laughing at the fans, but there's a huge pop instead, as Angel managed to cling onto the ropes by sheer instinct and fling himself inside the ring before the count ended!]
Rachel Beckett: Angel just about surviving in this match-up, but just like Angel's career is in its last moments, so is this match. NIN can smell the weakness of Angel right now!
Wally Wilson: It doesn't look good for the ELITE Legend. He may have bitten off more than he can chew tonight.
[NIN seems annoyed by Angel's persistence and is just unloading a flurry of punches and stomps on Angel, climaxing in slowly but painfully rubbing his boot over the face of Angel, to such a degree that afterwards, NIN's boot leaves a bloody footprint on the mat. NIN drags Angel into the centre of the ring, signalling for the end, but not even looking for one of his trademark finishers, but instead just preparing his leg. Angel slowly rises up and NIN swings his leg at Angel's head with a roundhouse kick... Which Angel takes advantage of, hooking under the leg and hitting a capture release suplex, sending NIN skidding across the mat! Angel finally has the break he needs, and he raises a huge arm in the air, signalling for the Unearthly Destroyer! NIN staggers up, and is met with a hand grabbing at his neck... Which he bats away, kicking Angel in the gut and lifting him onto his shoulders, applying a torture rack for a few moments before spinning down into a piledriver, hitting Creature of the Night! NIN confidently heads into the pin... And the referee refuses to count it! NIN is right back up on his feet, shouting obscenities at the offical, who is trying valiantly to point out that Angel's feet have landed underneath the ropes. NIN drags Angel back to the centre and goes for the pin again... 1... 2... Kickout at the last second, which only serves to further annoy NIN, knowing he would've had this match won]
Rachel Beckett: Pure dumb luck is all that's keeping Angel in this match, hell, pure dumb luck was what got him this chance in the first place, so I guess its to be expected.
Wally Wilson: Maybe, but if NIN hadn't have let his anger get the best of him and got into that shouting match with Leon Sparx there, he might've pulled it off!
[NIN takes a few deep breaths, trying to regain his cool as the fans try to goad him further in hopes of causing a mistake. NIN backs off into a corner, pulling down his knee pad and taking careful aim at Angel, who once again is slowly getting up. NIN charges, using the bent knee of Angel to launch his own exposed knee straight at Angel's temple, hitting a nasty harugiri, further splitting that cut on Angel's forehead. NIN is straight into the pin once again...1...2.. Kickout! Angel kicks out and NIN is livid! He looks at Angel in pure disbelief as blood continues to pour down Dark Angel's face, coating it in crimson. NIN delivers a cold slap to the face of Angel out of pure frustration, covering his own hand with Angel's blood, traces of which seem to be going across the ring. NIN comes up with a new battle plan and drags Angel up to the turnbuckle and onto the top, where he places him upside down on his shoulder, in a muscle buster position, going for the Ganja Drop. The sheer size of Angel though makes him hard to contain, and NIN loses his grip, and as Angel comes down, he grabs NIN's head, hitting a Diamond Cutter variation. Despite this, NIN is the first one up, and goes straight for Angel... Who brings his hand up around NIN's neck! Angel slowly rises up, choking the life out of NIN and lifting him up... and down! Angel hits the Unearthly Destroyer! The fans go insane as Angel basically collapses on top of NIN for the pinfall... 1... 2... Kickout! NIN kicks out of the Unearthly Destroyer, and now its Angel's turn to look at his opponent in shock and annoyance]
Wally Wilson: I don't know how Angel found the strength to get back into this match, but how much has he got left in the tank? Can he pull of a miracle here tonight and turn things around, and leave ELITE World Heavyweight Champion?
Rachel Beckett: A fluke last roll of the dice from Angel there, that's all! He didn't even have the strength to cover NIN properly there!
[Angel looks unsure of his next move, trying to delay NIN with some elbows to the back. He then lifts NIN up into a pump-handle slam position, obviously attempting the Judas Cradle, but NIN wriggles out and throws a forearm into the back of Angel's head. He then hits his trademark hashimoto DDT before going straight into the Horror Wheel, a version of the Indian Leglock, right on the leg he targeted at the start of the match, applying the hold with tremendous force, his body language obviously demanding Angel tapping out. Angel struggles and thrashes in the middle of the ring once more, trying to use that long reach to grab the ropes. With his hands made into fists so the referee doesn't mistake his movement for tapping, Angel drags both himself and NIN along the ring agonisingly slowly. A close-up of Angel's face shows he is actually biting into the cloth that masks the bottom half of his face to stop himself from screaming out in pain. Inch by inch, Angel pulls NIN closer and closer to the ropes. NIN, noticing Angel's attempt, tries to pull back, but they continue to move towards the ropes. Angel reaches out... and grabs it! NIN pulls back with all his might but Angel's grip is strong and refuses to let go of the rope. The referee starts counting for NIN to break the hold...1...2...3... NIN hasn't shown a single sign he's even heard the count, his eyes completely focused on Angel's hand grabbing onto the rope... 4... The referee stops the count to try and plead with NIN to break the hold as the fans boos grow louder and louder and the referee has no choice but count the five and signal for the bell, which causes massive amounts of booing, all of which NIN continues to ignore as he wrenches back further and further on Angel's leg, until his knee almost appears to be going in the opposite direction]
Erik Knights: Here is your winner, by disqualification, Dark Angel!
[Angel looks anything but a winner as he can no long hide the pain and starts howling out in agony. The bell is rung repeatedly as security guards and road agents storm down to the ring to try and stop this vicious assault, but are unable to directly interfere due to the way Angel's leg is in the hold, instead trying to plead with NIN, which falls on deaf ears. Angel is screaming out loud, blood pouring down his face, clawing wildly at the edge of the ring and NIN still won't let go of the hold. The fans are loudly chanting “Fuck You Horror”, which only serves to put a sadistic smile on the face of the World Champion. Finally, Angel starts pounding the mat wildly, before completely passing out. NIN keeps the hold locked in for a few more seconds before finally letting the hold go, satisfied with what he's done. Sickened road agents immediately pry Horror far away from Angel, who hasn't moved since passing out in the hold]
Wally Wilson: I don't believe what I just saw. What kind of man attempts something like that on another? How can NIN Horror possibly be proud of what he's just done tonight of all nights? That could well end Dark Angel's career right there and then.
Rachel Beckett: You're right, Wally. That was way too far. Do what you need to do to win a match, but that... Oh God, Angel hasn't moved still. We need medics, quickly...
[The doctors run out with a stretcher following them as NIN demands his World Title belt from Erik Knights, raising it in the air to a massive chorus of boos and hate towards NIN Horror, who just soaks it in. Angel, still unmoving is carefully placed on the stretcher as NIN Horror reaches the top of the ramp to pose proudly with the ELITE World Heavyweight Championship still around his waist]
Wally Wilson: What a horrible way to end this historic night. I'm Wally Wilson with Rachel Beckett, please join us next week as we continue FHT/ELITE's final stand...
[Our final shot is NIN gloating on the ramp as Dark Angel is wheeled past him, looking completely lifeless]
