Max Venom vs. Ace Andrews is confirmed. I'll leave the note about the potential fourway in until you decide one way or the other. If anyone had Venom or Ace listed in their picks, feel free to post with a replacement choice. Man, the new guys are the first to get their match sorted. Clearly the Uprising were onto something EDIT: Third page already? Let's keep the momentum up, guys.

Thanks Nick (I assume) for sending the email out as well, even if you're not certain about the idea. indeed it was i sir. that said, it does seem as though we could potentially have a show going here. if that is the case, i have to be on the show. but i cant write matches anymore. i dont have the creative juices anymore. so if someone wants to write the match, then i am game. i'll promo. i wouldnt go full time if this works. at most i would do 2 ppvs a year. we may get momentum for a month or so, but it will die off. look at the hardcore thread i created. it was moving for a month or so and then nothing, even though people said they would post. and all you have to do is post a short chain of action.

2 PPV's a year would be interesting. Would mean the normal shows would in theory be better. And PPVs actually mean something.

2 PPV's a year would be interesting. Would mean the normal shows would in theory be better. And PPVs actually mean something. I think Nick is referring to just two shows a year. I think that's probably the most likely outcome if the show does succeed, but again, that's looking a bit too far forward. The idea with "naming your top three wanted opponents" is to help generate ideas and discussion, and to get matches booked quicker. I've not got any issues with people being more open (Hell, I've done it, being a hypocrite and all), but my worry is we'll have 12 guys all up for the show but not booked in matches. Do start throwing ideas around for potential matches, either involving yourself or what you wanna see other people do. In a couple of days, when we've probably seen most of the returns from the email, we'll have a look for key faces that are missing and see if we can't contact and bring them in personally. Once we've reached the rough goal of at least five booked matches, we can also discuss the small details like commentary team, Daddy Rumble entrants, show name, how we deal with the fact technically WWE owns our asses... You know, typical indie show details.

I think "Sick" Nick Vs Red Ninja would be a good match just to throw it out there

I'm being ambitious I know, but yeah. I'll see what on the show might interest me. I think I'll leave the matches for the guys who were really here. So people can look back on the characters they liked.

Darkness King/Satan is an interesting idea. King had an on/off feud with Red Ninja as well for a while, God that feels like ages ago.
As for Kerrigan, I didn't get much of a chance to develop him much before I had to depart. King had an unbelievable cage match with LBM, which I'm sure he remembers. Kerrigan got involved in that match and almost cost King the match.

To clarified by anyone I mean someone I have a pass with but my first choice is Dijon
Also what does everyone think of a pre contract signing show before the ppv we could open it now and as the matches are made the people involve can come up with a contract signing segment which could show why the match is happening rather it ends in an attack (hatred), stare down (To prove something), or hand shake (respect) and maybe it'll get the juices flowing again

I don't want to put too much emphasis on pre-show work though, since I'd prefer people to be writing matches and promos for the show beforehand, and I don't want people using up promo ideas outside the show itself. Some more random match ideas to help keep discussion going: - NIN Horror vs. Keith Williams: ELITE Champion vs. FHT Champion. Non-title, probably, but even then would still be an interesting match-up, and be a nice callback to the FHT vs. ELITE beginnings. - Darkness King/Kerrigan vs. Red Ninja/Killer: I assume King and Kerrigan won't see eye-to-eye, but this would mean getting both of your characters on the card and in a match that'll be naturally different to anything else on the card. - Trey could potentially slot into the Uprising fourway if that happens and Casey doesn't show/Ash has his own plans. If not, I think there's a potentially interesting story about Trey being the last Global Honored Crown holder. Maybe with an ELITE old face forcing him to prove he deserves that honour? - Satan vs. The Peep's Champ? Satan did injure him during Pride & Passion, taking the FHT belt and costing TPC the ELITE belt as well, and I don't think we ever saw TPC do anything about it afterwards, although that might be my memory failing. - At the same time, The Punisher vs. Satan rubber match is the kind of match perfect for these kinda shows. Easy story to tell, a lot on the line, can be delivered since there's no concern about where things go afterwards. just a few ideas anyway. Hopefully we'll see some more faces add their names to the hat in the next few days.

Put me down as a Tenative yes. I could either go against Nick as a return to an old fued and a fight between the hardcore, or someone else. I'm open to anyone and would like to write something again provided I have enough notice

well you can count me in on this show, i have been wanting to do something for awhile now Hey Casey, if you want, me and Ace are doing a match and we're going to extend it into an Uprising elimination fourway, along with Ash if he's interested.
I wanna get this match sorted fairly soon, so Casey & Ash, if you're up for it, can you say before Friday? Otherwise I'll assume you've got other plans and get working on the singles match.

Were you people planning on having a Daddy Rumble without me? The Innovator? The Originator? The often imitated but never duplicated? The one and only Reverend Daddy Joe? I'm coming and I'm bringing a flaming chainsaw, bitches!
