Bio:
Max Venom was born to American parents from Texas, but they soon migrated to Tokyo, Japan to avoid paying a backlog of taxes. Max grew up in this lifestyle, and became a masterful wrestler. Eventually, his parents were called back to America and were jailed, and Venom vanished for many years.
He eventually re-emerged in FEW, coming in as a new talent for the ailing promotion. He soon won their Extreme Championship. However, only a few weeks later, the promotion closed its door, its owner vanishing into the night. Fingers were pointed at Max Venom, but no one could prove anything. Max again disappeared.
He returned at UWC, and had a successful run there with his tag team partner Cyprus, together known as “The Dealbrokers“. This tag team waged war against upper management, and finally the owner enforced controversial new regulations simply to stop Venom‘s reign of terror, bringing in outside help, which caused the talent to walk and the promotion to burn. Even today, the owner Barry Maxwell adamantly blames Max Venom for killing his promotion.
Venom followed Cyprus to PWE, where Max turned on his long-time partner and finally embraced his identity publicly as “The Company Killer”. He would later go on to win the United States title off his old partner, and then lead a team of men known collectively as “The Poisoned Chalice” against PWE’s top stars, with the promotion at stake. Max‘s team won, and PWE vanished on that night.
Venom again vanished, not even coming back to challenge the reborn PWE, under a new name and management, but still fearing his very presence. That fear ultimately led that promotion, EWF, to fall again, due to in-fighting stemming from a fear of Max‘s return. This was clear by management‘s last statement, in which they claimed Venom‘s destruction of PWE had left too many holes for the new promotion to try and recover.
Max Venom turned up a year later at FHT/ELITE, sneaking in during the Wrestling Apprentice contest. He soon banded together a group of talented newcomers and unappreciated wrestlers into the Uprising, who tore through the veteran ranks. Finding himself to be one of the main attractions of the fed and frustrated with management, Venom walked out on the promotion, leaving it to crumble in his wake.
Max Venom's return to Legacy started off very well as the Company Killer confessed his affection for the company and became the first ever Legacy World Wrestling Champion, winning a twenty-one man battle royal. However, this was cut short after Reverend Daddy Joe assaulted Max with a fork to the eye, humiliated him by bringing out his family and eventually stole the title from him. Max was denied revenge when he signed a contract to join the WWE but was quietly released for unknown reasons. He re-emerged near the end of Legacy's first season, teaming up with Joe to battle new boss Robert Gordon and NIN Horror but shockingly walked out on the match, leaving the fans craving answers.
