FHT XI News & Notes...
- Initial pay per view buys for this Sunday's FHT XI "Reunion Show", have been a lot lower than the fledgling wrestling promotion would have liked. As of Monday evening, just six days away from the event, only 7,000 ppv orders have been made. FHT which has had numerous reunion/one night only style shows since its demise in 2009, have been unable to attract as many of its former roster members back for this show.
Dark Angel, Max Venom, Alexei Petrovich, Blade, Jamie Coleson, Killer are notable by their abscenes from the card as are FHT Hall of Famers Trippy P, Venom, _the j-man, David and others from FHT's peak years of 2002 - 2004. However FHT felt confident they had put together a card than many could get behind.
So far announced are "Sick" Nick/Reverend Daddy Joe for the FHT Undisputed Championship. Keith Williams vs. Robert Gordon in a Satan's Hell match (one of FHT's most unique and exciting matches) and the battle between LBM and Stone Cold Steve Austin. So far these three matches have been somewhat promoted via social media and other online outlets.
However other matches that were announced but have yet to be confirmed by the talent involved are - Nin Horror vs Red Ninja, Ace Andrews vs Soul Reaper and FHT Hardcore Champion Heavy Metal Snail vs. Trey Spruance. The card is stacked yes but there has to be uncertainity regarding some of the matches on the card and this shows.
- Tickets have not sold out as yet with ringside tickets, priced at a higher tariff (including a meet & greet) still remaining also. As of last night - FHT announced that for any fans buying the ppv - they will have access to past FHT ppvs for one week on their website which they can stream/download.
.........................................
- The FHT Arena has been a tide of activity this week with construction trucks outside - obviously erecting some sort of staging set.
- FHT superstars are staying in the Hitlon Hotel NYC. As such so far only Robert Gordon, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Keith Williams have been seen around town.
- LBM is expected to fly in later today.
- Dark Angel was spotted late last week in a New York bar fuelling spectualation he was to return this coming Sunday, however it appears that he was visiting friends and has no desire to be involved much to the disappointment of many.
