Any of you guys affected by this? Just watching news here and even from say over here in Ireland it looks like its pretty damn serious! God bless if any of you in the path of that one! Nice to see elections isn't the top agenda right now when this is going on!

Well in my part of the woods Its been raining all day with wind but not as bad as it has on the coast. Luckily I haven't had my power go off, but friends of mine have seen it go off. Hoping this passes before tomorrow is thru so my brother can make it home from Miami.

yea, long island and manhattan got hit hard. mainly wind and storm surges. we lost power yesterday at 6:30pm. we are currently running a generator for some power. apparently 90% of LIPA customers (which i believe is most if not all of long island) are without power. i hope to not be without power for too long.
word has it that the trains may be out of until friday. so i guess i am not working. i hear that southern manhattan is under water right now, which is where i work. no idea when i can go back to work. which if it is free off days is a good thing. if i have to use vacation time, that will suck.

just thinking, good thing we didnt have a monday night superstars in the legacy arena this week. we could have been blown away.
