Supershow #4: City of ChampionsDate: August 12th, 2012_____________________________________________________________________________ 10 Years In The Making: No Holds Barred -VS- Some would say this is a war that started back in the opening days of FHT, between Little Big Man and Satan Robert Gordon (Satan never existed). Some would say this is a war that started at Legacy, between a retired alcoholic commentator Lbm and an ex-WWE producer Robert Gordon. Some would say this is a war that started in the last few weeks, as Gordon's mind games have threatened to not only take Lbm to the brink, but push him past it. Gordon has cost Lbm his old job, his health and most devastatingly of all, his family. At Supershow #4, Robert Gordon and Lbm will finally go one-on-one: Will the purveyor of Truth and Honesty claim victory or will Lbm finally get his long-awaited redemption? -VS- [C]With the departure of former champion and rival Max Venom to the WWE, Reverend Daddy Joe has been enjoying a hero's welcome on his return to New York. However, while the fans may have been enjoying the World Champion's antics and off-the-cuff comments, his fellow wrestlers have not and it seems Joe has no shortage of enemies in the locker-room. After winning a Multiman Mayhem match on the Legacy before Supershow 4, Red Ninja has found himself with the coveted title shot against Reverend Daddy Joe. Both men have had only a week to prepare for this major match, will Joe find a way to retain in front of "his people" or will Red Ninja add the Legacy World Wrestling Title to his list of accomplishments? -VS- -VS- [C]Alexei Petrovich may have thought his tough times and struggles were over after beating "Sick" Nick and claiming the Internet title, but the move to New York brought a hostile crowd almost desperate to see the plucky young newcomer get hurt. Adding to his misery is the reveal of his two challengers: Ace Andrews, the talented returning star and former holder of both the FHT and ELITE World Titles and Matthew Logan, the accomplished mat specialist who seems to have caught the eye of Legacy boss Keith Williams. Can Alexei retain his belt or are the odds simply too much for him to overcome?Number One Contender Tables Match -VS- NIN Horror has a resume nothing short of amazing. The only man to have won the combined FHT/ELITE title, a Hall of Famer and an internationally acclaimed wrestler. Its perhaps no surprise he overlooked Heavy Metal Snail in their last match but the buzz around Snail continues to grow. Snail may not have the superstar look but there's no dismissing his ever-growing list of impressive outings in the ring. NIN seems confident, cocky even, about beating the rookie but could end up on the wrong side of a massive upset. Either way, this promises to be a match that could steal the show. After NIN's constant demands to be recognised as Legacy World Wrestling Champion, Keith Williams made this a number one contender's match. Could Supershow #4 be the biggest night of Snail's career?Split Cage Match -VS- No one can say for sure what snapped in the mind of The Peep's Champ after half his face was badly burnt, but the result has not only put Legacy on high alert, its made sure the Leader of the Legacy Legion has to watch his back. Someone has deemed Dark Angel a target, sending a group of kidnappers to try and take him away, only to mistakenly take The Peep's Champ instead and injure his body and mind. Now half-deranged, it seems his decisions are made with the flip of a coin and its been decided Angel deserves to be punished for what happened. Can the Dark Angel fight off the justice-seeking madman or will The Peep's Champ find a measure of retribution against Angel? And will the leader of the kidnappers, the man who ordered the attack on Angel and caused this injury on Peep's Champ, show himself at Supershow 4?World of Sport Rules -VS- The upbeat and chirpy Gemma Traumaward wasted little time accepting Frida's challenge to this old-school technical contest, noting that Frida has been unable to beat her in a more traditional wrestling match. Having traded wins and losses in a best of three series featuring one-count pins, finisher matches and even a No-DQ match, this looks to finally settle the score between these two talented women. In this historic throwback ladies match, which woman will prove herself to be the better wrestler? The Final Battle -VS- Some would call Blackcat Meiko jealous, others justified. Angry that Nina was receiving a better response from the fans than she was, bitter that her own path to the Legacy Ladies division was tougher than the hopeful rookie and enraged Nina didn't quit after their last match, Meiko has challenged Nina to one last match. Nina wins, and Meiko will leave her alone, Meiko wins, and Nina may have to accept she no longer has a place on the roster. Will Nina's passion overcome Meiko's sheer experience? And will Nina's newly blossoming friendship with Lbm play any role in the match?Bonus MatchThe Jobbers Compete? As the entire FHT/ELITE brand looks towards its ten year anniversary this December, rumour has it classic FHT Superstars, the aptly-named Jobbers, will be in action against each other. What will happen in this blast from the past?_____________________________________________________________________________

We're one week away from the big show, which has taken us quite some time to actually get to. Its a hell of a card already, obviously a few changes (Joe's opponent, Angel/TPC stipulation/Internet Title vote) still to come though. So here's a big thread to do some last-minute booking for the show, discuss the card and the show itself when it starts.
That's the card as I'm aware of it right now. Obviously still a few guys not yet on it, so if you want a match on the show, now's the time to speak up. And obviously if I've missed anything too. Hope you all enjoy the little blurbs I put with it as well.
Could do with theme song suggestions and a better subtitle than the one I came up with in like five seconds off the top of my head. Last Legacy before the show up later, remember if you're interested in the Multiman Mayhem match, either post in the booking thread or PM Ninja.

Nina Wagner vs. Blackcat Meiko was confirmed ages ago, actually.
And yeah, City of Champions is a great name for the first supershow back in New York.

Crap, I always forget something when doing these. My bad, added it now. Also changed the subtitle to City of Champions, unless someone comes with something better, think that'll stick.

Good to have David back here for feedback as well as in character! Have enjoyed the David sitting in the crowd thing! It's subtle but it's interesting in that I have no idea were its going!!!
The fact David been away for so damn long - it really would be some Comeback!
And Chase is getting a lot of praise!!! Deservedly so!!!

I don't think my new gimmick is something I deserve full credit for because Dark Angel has helped out with a lot of the process and its because of the feud with him its coming out so well. We both have good ideas and they are just smashing together well and Dark Angel has done most of the writing for the feud. I also believe bigger eye catching stuff are yet to come out of the minds of TPC/Dark Angel so keep watching because your not going want to miss a second of it.

Added the new stipulation for Angel/TPC, made the changes to NIN/Snail and added the Jobbers match onto the card.
Alexei/Logan/Ace: If you want to do the vote for the stipulation on the Internet Title, either post three match types here or PM me with them and I'll add a poll onto the topic.

If you're not on the card, that doesn't mean you can't be on the Supershow. Feel free to set up an upcoming angle, beat a jobber (or maybe Vlad/J.R. Carter, if they don't show up this week, both will be released post-Supershow) or maybe even reach out to someone else without a match, try and get something sorted quickly. Certainly wouldn't be a bad idea to get yourself noticed on this show, especially as this'll be where some feuds will end and people will be looking for their next opponent.
Card will either be up very late tonight or early morning, GMT. So a free day today, to make sure the details of your match is sorted, maybe start writing it and do any last minute things on the media board if needed.

Great card, all the matches have been built up well. Descriptions for them are awesome as well, very helpful.
Predictions, anyone?
NIN Horror vs. Heavy Metal Snail: Think NIN's been built up as the next contender but the story seems to be building to a Snail upset. Hard to say, but thinking Snail wins it and NIN cons his way into the World title match later.
Dark Angel vs. The Peep's Champ: Another tough one, could go both ways, but I think this kidnapper reveal is what tipped it for me. Reckon TPC gets the win after kidnapper interference. The identity of the kidnapper's leader? Going out on a limb here, think there's a few more obvious choices but gonna say Soul Reaper. Just a gut feeling.
Matthew Logan vs. Ace Andrews vs. Alexei Petrovich: With all respect to my Uprising second-in-command, I don't see Ace pulling it off here. Probably be between Alexei and Logan... Think a Logan win would be really cool but dunno if it'll happen, gonna say Alexei wins after a botched Keith run-in.
Reverend Daddy Joe vs. Red Ninja: Its a cool match but honestly don't see the World Title changing hands with no build. Joe gets a clean win, New York goes wild. Max Venom grits his teeth a little somewhere in Stanford.
Robert Gordon vs. Lbm: Gordon's been a very effective heel against Lbm but it does seem like a straight redemption story, surely Lbm has to win. Then again, it might be more interesting to watch what happens if Lbm loses... But no, gonna say Lbm gets the victory after his son, suddenly out of his coma, runs in and smacks Gordon with a chair. Father and son reunite and celebrate in the ring.
