When the elite title started we held a tournament that was called the tournament of champions. I think other efeds don't like people plugging other sites / titles and want everyone to start off as a rookie so us beginning with champions / former champions from other feds was good in putting our belt over as being the best of the best.
It went to some guy Krull who was like Ninja a strong match writer and more importantly someone not synonymous with FHT. Krull was a good legitimate champion but after dropping the title dropped out of ELITE which was a bit puss cause although he put over our next champion for everyone that lay down for him on course and during his title run - he should have gave back a little.
However our second champion was Aaron Capone and he was great. Really put in the effort into his character and he did do multiple characters at that time (Rodney paine). Capone who had been hoodrich as a tag team just got super over. I loved the heel cena character he was playing and he just got over as a face organically. I did a mini feud with him on TV were LBM just couldn't beat him. Think one of the matches he beat me in a minute.
Ultimately I take responsibility for killing him off / I took Keith Williams money in the bank when he walked out for some reason and one day Capone wrote that I cashed in. We had been discussing an LBM cash in but I had no idea it was happening until it happened. And it was a shame cause it didn't work out. Capone left shortly after.
I would say that Krull and Capone were 2 big deals as champs in elite. But so was ulster however he got the title and did an injury angle and that was the end of him. Ace Andrews win was pretty cool to. Newcomer to the company who was a real antagonist and at a time when the same people had been wearing the FHT title on and off for years ace was new and fresh and could have done great things. I think the title was a curse... great to strive for the belt but once u get there it is hard to keep that momentum.

First part is incorrect while the second part and third are true. Krull was never a legit champ in either of the places I saw. His match writing was pretty good, but his promo work was somewhere below Goldberg. For "e-fed" purposes a Goldberg-esque character can not work without a mouthpiece of some form. I've always had issues with him being awarded titles based on his match writing and inability to put forth anything over a paragraph (or less) of bland promos. I liked Capone, thought it was a breath of fresh air to see it go from some meh character to one that was always being worked on and getting better. Far more fun for an e-fed in my opinion. J-Man, LBM, NIN, these guys were my favorites and it sucks that when I was the champion, I could have worked with these guys and maybe had a good run instead of a forgettable one. Seemed like everybody bailed leaving me to carry the load on my own... very poorly cuz I'm an awful match writer/story teller. I can write a promo.. sometimes lol but thats as far as I get. Then there are some of these guys that while I'm sure did fine, I don't remember them being the champion at all. So for that I apologize. Good to see you guys again though.

I appreciate the shout out Reaper. Though I never had a good reign with the elite title and probably killed Capone forever as he dropped out shortly after losing the title to me.
Reaper / Lbm legend vs legend was when I first started using the moniker The F'N Legend and was a great feud that featured two great matches on ppv. I believe in one match we started fighting through the pyrotechnics and one of them involved Sally Wilson being battered multiple times by you.
I do remember your flustration with your title reign though. The soul assassins feud. Think the problem every champion ever had in fht elite was that once they won it - they immediately had to find another feud. And no one really wanted the first feud with a new champion cause ultimately their chances of winning the title were slim.
Really what we should have done once or twice was have a new champion crowned and immediately drop it to someone else completely unexpected and that would keep it going.
