LBM at the Performance Center
I just got done speaking on the phone with a friend of mine currently in training at the WWE Performance Center. Obviously he wishes to remain anonymous as he doesn't want his chances at a WWE career put in jeporday by speaking to the dirt sheets. Apparently LBM showed up on Friday and was involved in one of the mass workouts students go through on a daily basis. He was picked out of the group later that morning and got to spar in the ring with a couple of rookies. Incredibily LBM is in better shape that he was 10 years ago. Often receiving flack for his balding hair and obvious beer belly in his later years - LBM looked great. The students who got in their with him seemed impressed that LBM could actually wrestle (most of LBM's matches were garbage matches with little to no wrestling). In the afternoon of the Friday LBM had spoken to most of the students who had all wanted to meet him and took selfies with a lot of them. Charlotte was there as were a few other of the wrestlers from NXT. LBM greeted her with a huge hug telling her he hadn't seen her since she a teen. LBM shared some of the stories of his nights with Ric Flair - were both men sounded to go wild partying.
Triple H would call in most Fridays and this was no exception. On Triple H's side though was Robert Gordon. I know a lot of the Gordon/LBM feud was real back in the day so I found it interesting that my contact told me how they acted like two best friends. Hunter greeted LBM with a huge hug and they went to the gym for a while. I don't know what all this means and no doubt the mention of LBM/Robert Gordon and the WWE will once again stir up the rumours of an FHT return which we have heard time and time again - but this is definitely and interesting development.
